2008 – London

IEEC 2008 was a great success and this website now has materials and media from the Conference for you to download. Plenary speaker presentations are all available and Workshop presentations have been added too. Check out the Photo Galleries for all three days. Short video interviews with Contributors provide individual perspectives on the question ‘Are We Fit For The Future?’ as well as links to presentations.

Dr Kelly Smith from the University of Birmingham, who presented a Tuesday workshop on the potential of Web 2.0 for enterprise education, created an excellent Web 2.0 resource during the Conference – Delicious bookmarks! You can sample them here.

This annual conference came to one of the world’s leading business districts, London’s Canary Wharf, for the first time to examine the latest developments in entrepreneurship education and research. The IEEC is the major forum for international entrepreneurship educators and policy-makers to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues, surveying the best worldwide initiatives embedding entrepreneurship within education and enabling delegates to contribute to informing strategies that will lead to greater, more sustainable global enterprise.
This year, from 8th-10th September, the Conference considered the challenges of developing the concept of an entrepreneurial university and embedding entrepreneurial activity into the fabric of institutions. The IEEC was led by a partnership of the NCGE and Enterprise Educators UK, with an international line-up of speakers and a greater opportunity for delegate participation.
