IEEC2023 CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education on a Global Stage

Interactive Sessions, Seminars and PechaKucha 20×20 Submission

Please note that the submission window for IEEC2023 has now closed. Thank you to all those who proposed a session; if you have not received an emailed decision about your proposal, please contact us at sal@enterprise.ac.uk

IEEC is known for its excellent keynote speakers and in particular, for its participant-focused sessions led by educators and practitioners. The conference provides a unique forum for enterprise and entrepreneurship educators and practitioners to share experiences and engage with others.

Prospective session leaders are now invited to submit proposals for contributions at this year’s conference at the University of Surrey. Sessions are welcomed in three formats – seminars which will enable session leaders to present content in a more traditional style where the subject matter lends itself to that approach; interactive parallel sessions to engage and immerse participants in learning; and our ever-popular ‘PechaKucha’ presentations.

All sessions, whatever the format, should be structured to explore the successes and challenges of working in this area, and to support both the delegates and the presenters to explore issues, opportunities and constraints through a number of themed tracks.

We are looking for contributions that enable good practice, inspire discussion and encourage debate and may be underpinned by research or practice.

We are keen to encourage student participation and aim to include students as co-facilitators in a number of seminars and interactive sessions. Please consider including a student in your proposal – we have a limited number of free day places available for participating full time students. If you are considering this and want to know more, please contact Rob Edwards to find out more.

Opportunities to contribute to IEEC2023

This year we have three opportunities for colleagues to contribute to the conference:

1. To Facilitate an interactive 50 minute session
2. To Present a 50 minute seminar
3. To Present PechaKucha-style in our IEEC2023 20×20 sessions

We invite contributions from those working across the spectrum of enterprise and entrepreneurship education and practice in higher and further education and related organisations.

Further information about each of these opportunities can be found here, and all proposers should read these guidelines prior to making a submission.
