Delegates enjoyed a tour of Nottingham’s enterprise ecosystem, where they had the opportunity to visit local community entrepreneurial co-working spaces in the heart of the city, see inspiring academic spaces where students develop their ideas and graduates build businesses, and network with NTU enterprise and entrepreneurship educators and other IEEC delegates.
The Eco-System tour included:
- Welcome and introductions with hot drinks and and cakes at Blend, Sneinton Market
- A short walking tour through Hockley/Lace Market with an introduction to Nottingham Innovations & Community Businesses
- A tour of the Design and Digital Arts (DADA) Building with the opportunity to hear how Nottingham School of Art and Design supports Creative and Digital enterprise
- The final stop of the ecosystem tour will be at NTU’s purpose-built enterprise hub, the Dryden Enterprise Centre (DEC) where there will be networking opportunities and a chance to engage with representatives from Nottingham’s ecosystem whilst enjoying a drink and some snacks
